WEST MILFORD — Community Services and Recreation is again holding its annual summer concert series, beginning July 14.
This diverse calendar runs from classic rock to pop to country to dance, fusion and of course, ends with an Island Beach Party.
July 14 – The Rockaholics - Jimmy The Barber’s Rockaholics, a classic rock band playing songs from the 60s to the 80s kicks off the series. This four-piece band is an area staple. Their good music and humorous antics make for great family fun.
July 21 – The Kootz – “Rock ‘ n Roll with Fiber” a collective passion for 60s through 90s classic rock, pop, soul and blues and just plain old great timeless music. The Kootz always serve up an array of the music that’s at everyone’s very core.
July 28 – Farmer Phil - Put your cowboy boots on and get ready to dance. Farmer Phil will have you tappin’ your toes to some good old country music.
Aug. 4 – Orville Davis & The Wild Bunch - A first for the series “Honky Tonk with an attitude” best describes the hard core country band. This very popular band is sure to get you moving. Get ready to kick up your heels.
Aug. 11 – OC5 – Another first. The diverse and unique backgrounds for this local band’s members makes for a blend of genres including classic rock, country, dance, fusion and more.
Aug. 18 - Island Beach Party! With a Tribute To Jimmy Buffet by the always-entertaining Parrot Beach. Put on your Hawaiian shirt, grab a cheeseburger and get ready for paradise as this band takes you to the ultimate vacation destination with their fun island music. This island happening will take place right on the beach just steps away from the gazebo. Shoes are optional.
Rain dates are July 23, 29, Aug. 10, 13 and Sept. 1
The concerts take place at Bubbling Springs, at the gazebo.
