Several hundred people, many in costumes, came out to the high school parking lot on Saturday for the third annual “Spooktacular.”

The event featured a “Trunk or Treat” with candy being passed out by community and high school organizations.

The festivities also included a DJ, food, performances by local dance schools, and games for the young and young at heart to enjoy.

In addition to the event in the parking lot, Macopin Middle School hosted its annual “Haunted Hallway,” which provided scares to attendees of all ages.

The event this year benefited the West Milford Animal Shelter and “well behaved” pets were invited for the first time this year.
