The Belle Tones serenaded concert goers at Bubbling Springs Park on Tuesday night.

The concert was the latest of the free summer concerts at the park organized by the West Milford Community Services & Recreation Department.

The Belle Tones are an all-female trio that sing, dance, tell jokes, etc., and they delighted the crowd of about 30-40 that came out to the park to see them.

Group members Amy Evans, Katherine Gauntez, and Laura Anne Turk sing popular Broadway, Jazz, and holiday songs from the 1920’s through the 1980’s, as well as plenty of patriotic tunes to honor veterans and those still serving in the military.

There will be one more summer concert at the park on September 10 at 7 p.m. when The Kootz are scheduled to play a variety of classic rock, pop, soul and blues.

The band was originally scheduled to play on July 23 before the concert was postponed due to weather.

The Bubbling Springs summer concert series is sponsored by Columbia Bank, the West Milford Rotary Club, Skylands Ice World, Councilwoman Marilyn Lichtenberg, and Professional Insurance Associates, Inc.

Bubbling Springs will be open daily from noon to 6 p.m. from Aug. 17 through Sept.2, according to the township.
