With fall just about a month away, the West Milford Community Services & Recreation Department has opened registration for a variety of programs, activities, classes, and camps for both children and adults.

For the youngsters, there are the multi-sports and soccer programs meeting on Thursdays and Saturdays beginning on September 12.

The programs are intended for children 2-6 years old and are not nearly the only options for kids around that age group.

There’s also the “Imagine with Music” program, a pajama party class involving music and movement, beginning on Sept. 16 at the West Milford Library.

The program offers a class for newborns up to five-year-olds with a participating adult as well as another class for developmentally disabled children ages 2-10 with a parent of caregiver.

Registration is also open for the After-School Art Club, which begins on September 19 and offers sessions for children in grades K-2 and 3-6.

The Fall Kids Cooking Classes return on Sept. 13 as well, offering classes for kindergarteners through high school seniors.

If you’re looking for something for your children to do during the teacher’s convention on Nov. 7-8, then you may want to consider registering for the Camp Brix Lego Camp, which will also take place at the library.

Certified Bob Ross Oil Painting Instructor Robert Benedetto will be teaching art classes for both children (grades 3-6) and adults beginning on Sept. 22.

The children’s classes will take place at the recreation center, while the adult classes will be held at the library.

Also for adults is the Vinyasa Yoga classes beginning on Sept. 7, which welcome people of all levels of experience and will take place at the library.

Adult co-ed volleyball returns on Sept. 9 as well, with beginner and advanced level classes meeting on Monday and Wednesday nights.
