Harry C. Thurber

Harry C. Thurber, a lifetime resident of the Town of Warwick, currently residing in Greenwood Lake, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. He was 50 years old.

He was born in Warwick on April 16, 1969, the son of Robert Thurber and Patricia Shea Thurber.

Harry was a cook at Joey, Vito and Michael’s Pizzeria in West Milford, N.J., prior to his death.

An avid sports fan, Harry loved his New York teams and faithfully followed the Mets, Giants, Rangers and Knicks.

He also enjoyed going fishing on Greenwood Lake and spent his time gardening and cooking while at home. Harry was his father’s primary caregiver for many years.

Harry is survived by his father, Robert; and several cousins.

Private arrangements were made by Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick.
