Melissa Staubitz of West Milford and Zachary Klarberg of Wayne are engaged to be married.
Zachary popped the question while they were on a trip to the Poconos to celebrate their 5th anniversary together in November of 2018.
They will celebrate their 7th anniversary together a few days before getting married in November of 2020.
The future bride and groom met in 2013 at Passaic County Community College while working towards their associate degrees.
Zachary continued from there and went to WPU to receive his bachelor's degree in accounting.
He is now a licensed CPA at Citrin Cooperman in Livingston.
Melissa is a Receptionist/Executive Assistant at Mercury Systems in West Caldwell.
In May of 2019, they purchased their first home together in Fairfield.
