Marc Louis DiCianni passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, due to complications related to diabetes. He was 30.

Marc was born in Denville, N.J., on Sept. 8, 1990, and resided in Sparta, N.J., for 18 years before moving to California and later Burlington, Vermont.

Marc was an avid music fan and musician, spending much of his time attending concerts and composing his own music. Marc also enjoyed art and design, he created and sold a number of pieces inspired by the music he loved. Marc was a selfless and generous soul, frequently contributing to a variety of charitable causes and always living for others. Marc’s bravery, courage, and strength was evidenced by his long and painful battle with gastroparesis.

Marc was preceded in death by his mother, Laurie DiCianni.

He is survived by his father, Louis DiCianni, and his wife, Vickie DiCianni of Montville, N.J.; brothers Dave DiCianni of Denver, Colo., and Corey Hennings and his wife, Renee, of Lafayette, N.J.; his loving nephews; Winston and Desmond Hennings; and his black lab Althea. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends whom he loved dearly.

Funeral arrangements were made by Goble Funeral Home, Sparta. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 30, at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Cemetery, Airport Road Green Township, N.J. Cremation was held privately.
