Anthony J. Sansone

Anthony J. Sansone of Warwick (formerly of Mt. Vernon) passed away on Friday, April 25, 2020. He was 61 years old.

Born in the Bronx, he was the son of Angelina and Joseph Sansone.

Anthony was a postal worker in White Plains.

Anthony was a parishioner at St. Stephen RC Church in Warwick.

His family’s statement reads: “Anthony was a fighter; he gave it his all. He loved politics and sports, especially baseball. None of our conversations about politics or sports will ever be the same without him.”

Anthony is survived by his wife Mary Ellen; son Michael Sansone; father Joseph Sansone and step-mother Raffaelina of Queens; and step-brothers Gabe, John and Peter Zazzarino, also of Queens. He was predeceased by his mother, Angelina.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 25, at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen RC Church, 75 Sanfordville Road, Warwick.
