SSgt. James Michael Timmins, 25, of Shreveport, Louisiana, formerly of West Milford, passed away on Sunday, June 2.
Born on Sept. 18, 1993 in Beaufort, South Carolina, to Susan (Rensch) and Michael Joseph Timmins.
In 2013, James enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana until his passing.
According to his friends he was “one hell of an aircraft mechanic”.
It was during this time that James met and married Patricia “Patty” (Sheehy) in January 2015, and were blessed with their daughter Haley Elizabeth in August 2015.
James is survived by his beloved wife Patty, his cherished daughter Haley, his loving parents Susan and Michael, his dear sister Shaine Timmins, his paternal grandparents Barbara and Barney Timmins, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as numerous friends.
James will best be remembered for his love for his family, especially his daughter Haley, as well as his enjoyment in riding his motorcyles and cars, cooking, and almost anything offensive.
The family received visitors on Saturday, June 8, at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 La Rue Road in Newfoundland, (For GPS use 1 Post Place).
Final disposition will be private.
