Lawrence J. Jacobs of Hewitt died on Thursday, May 21, 2020. He was 54 years old.
Beloved husband of Donna (Zmirak) Jacobs. The son of the late Louis and Jeanette (Damm) Jacobs.
Larry was employed by White Coffee Corp. of Long Island City, N.Y., for 26 years as a service technician.
Also surviving are his children: sons Todd and Steven of Hewitt, N.J., and daughter Jenna who is currently attending Louisiana State University; sister Loretta Donahue (husband Jack) of Fair Lawn, N.J., brother Peter (wife Karen) of Palmyra, N.J., sister-in-law Mariann Jacobs and Harold of Toms River, N.J., and many nieces and nephews.
Larry was predeceased by his brother, Ed.
Larry was a loving husband and father and a wonderful friend to all. He spent many years attending his kids sporting events, always cheering from the sidelines. He also coached his kids soccer teams for many years.
He was a friend to all who knew him and was always willing to help someone out. Larry’s greatest passion, aside from his family was snowboarding. He spent every free minute on the slopes.
Larry will be dearly missed by all.
A private cremation has been scheduled. A celebration of Larry’s life will be announced at a later date.
