Seniors hold memorial for late aerobics instructor

The West Milford Community Services & Recreation Senior Aerobics Class showed their love and devotion to Susan F. Swartz, their aerobics instructor of approximately 25 years who passed away.
After their morning aerobics class, the group held a short, heartfelt memorial service where they dedicated a plaque in her honor. The class of 40 participants thanked Susan’s husband, two daughters and son-in-law who were in attendance. The plaque honoring Susan’s life and service now hangs outside the gymnasium at the West Milford Recreation Center.
A park bench with a name plate in her honor will also be dedicated in the near future.
Susan was the inspiration for all the men and women in her class to work hard and stay healthy, flexible, and mobile. Her favorite quote, “and lets do eight more” will continue to inspire our seniors to remain healthy for many years to come.
