If you are looking for someplace to get into the Christmas spirit then head on over to the Wallisch Homestead during the month of December beginning on Dec. 3rd.

Each evening between 6 and 8 p.m. the stone building, known as the Creamery will be lit up with a view of Christmas Past.

Peek inside the windows and see a Christmas celebration from yesteryear.

I Spy the Night before Christmas

Clement Clarke Moore’s Night before Christmas is the premise for a Wallisch version of I Spy. See how many of the items you can spot.

A listing of items will be at the Creamery, the website www.wallischhomestead.org and Friends of Wallisch Homestead on Facebook.

Wally, the Wallisch Cow

Also see if you can find Wally, the Wallisch Cow. Wally will move around the display every Thursday so be sure to stop by each week. Submit your findings, including date and location of Wally to wallischhomestead@gmail. A 2022 Music Festival ticket will be awarded to a lucky correct answer.

As you look through the windows see if you can spot the true meaning of Christmas: Peace, Joy and Hope in this live diorama.

“We encourage folks to let us know of their visit through Facebook comments, Instagram or email. We look forward to feedback” said Sue Lynch, FOWH Chair.

Wallisch Homestead a 501 (c)(3) located at 65 Lincoln Ave. in West Milford is dedicated to sustaining and improving the property and grounds for cultural, educational and recreational purposes.

“Memberships and donations” Lynch added, “allow us to keep moving onward and upward.”
