Parish carnival in Hewitt open to all

    Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Parish is bringing their annual Carnival back on Wednesday, May 9 through Saturday, May 12 beginning at 6 p.m. each evening, 5 on Saturday, at 1911 Union Valley Road, Hewitt.
    The parishioners and local businesses are working together to create fun-filled days for all generations from tots to seniors.
    The Carnival will include games, rides, lots of food choices, and free live music for dancing.
    Wednesday the Kerssen brothers will perform and bring delight to all gathered. DJ Algorhytym will keep us dancing and singing Thursday evening.
    Friday we’ll be dancing with the Thunderhill Country and Western Dance Band. Saturday Vera and the Force will return to delight all.
    John Trahan, this year’s chair person, looks forward to bringing the crowds back.
    “Join us for delightful entertainment for all ages," Trahan said. "Come dance the night away, or enjoy the many and varied rides we’ll have for you this year.
