Scouts prepared memorial for annual Veterans Day service.
West Milford. Local Cub Scouts spent Nov. 9 getting Veterans Park ready for Veterans Day activities.

On Nov. 9, Apshawa Cub Scout Pack 139 coordinated cleaning up the Veterans Memorial in front of town hall on Union Valley Road so it would be ready for the annual Veterans Day service.
Members of Girl Scout Troop 96519 joined in the cleanup.
John Ball of John's Home and Garden Center, 2850 Route 23 South in Newfoundland, donated mulch.
Township Councilwoman Marilyn Lichtenberg donated landscape fabric and helped lay it down.
Bill Johnson and Herb Sands of the VFW joined in the work as well.
