Winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket sold at Vernon Acme

According to state lottery officials, one winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket was recently sold at the Vernon Township Acme, located at 530 Route 515.

The lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn on Saturday, Oct. 19, and won the $492,568 jackpot, officials said.

The winning numbers were 2, 12, 30, 33 and 39, and the XTRA number was 4.

So far, the winner has not come forward to claim the prize.

New Jersey Lottery Acting Executive Director James Carey said there were 471,617 tickets purchased for the drawing.

The Acme will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for the winning ticket sold.

By adding XTRA, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. It costs $1 more to play the feature.

For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 55 ticketholders won $705 each and 11 others won $2,820 each with the addition of XTRA.

For correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 2,743 ticketholders won $16 each and 484 others won $64 each with the addition of XTRA.

Additionally, 5,811 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
