New Jersey. Online Narcan training now available online

    CARES, the New Jersey Center for Addiction and Recovery Education and Success, is now offering free online Narcan training to help reverse an opioid overdose.

    The course is for those who are at risk of an overdose and for those who care about saving the life of someone who is.

    The online course takes place weekly on Mondays from 5-6:30 p.m. and Fridays from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The training includes overdose prevention strategies, signs and symptoms of an overdose, how to administer Naloxone, rescue breathing, and overdose prevention legal rights.
