DWI ARREST

On December 7, 2019 at 12:05 AM West Milford Police Officer Jonathan Bregman was travelling north on Route 23 in the vicinity of Germantown Road when he noticed a 2014 silver Toyota Corolla travelling at a high rate of speed and failing to maintain a lane.

After making additional observations while travelling behind the Toyota, Officer Bregman conducted a motor vehicle stop.

Officer Bregman made contact with the driver and lone occupant Eric Geisendorfer, 42 of Hamburg, NJ.

While speaking to Geisendorfer, Officer Bregman observed signs of intoxication.

After failing standard field sobriety tests, Geisendorfer was placed under arrest for DWI.

He was processed and charged additionally with reckless driving, failure to maintain a lane, and failure to exhibit insurance card.

He was released to a family member pending first appearance in West Milford Municipal Court.

DWI PATROL LEADS TO CDS ARREST

On December 8, 2019 while conducting DWI Enforcement Patrol on Route 23 North, Detective Nicholas Snook observed a red 2016 Nissan Altima failing to maintain its lane.

Detective Snook conducted a motor vehicle stop and upon making contact with the driver Dowong Singletary, 22 of Middletown, NY and passenger Kalina Riggs, 21 of Unionville, NY observed narcotics paraphernalia and an odor of burnt marijuana in the vehicle.

Both Singletary and Riggs were removed from the vehicle and Detective Snook conducted a search of the interior which resulted in additional paraphernalia and marijuana.

Singletary and Riggs were placed under arrest for possession of marijuana and narcotics paraphernalia.

Prior to being handcuffed, Riggs retrieved a plastic bag containing marijuana from within the front of her underpants.

Detective Snook was assisted on scene by Officer Thomas Connors and Jonathan Bregman. Singletary and Riggs were both released on summons pending an initial appearance in West Milford Municipal Court.

DWI ARREST WITH MINORS IN VEHICLE

On December 28, 2019 at 10:47 PM West Milford Police Officer Jonathan Bregman was contacted by West Milford Police Officer Kevin Canova who advised that he was behind an erratic driver and was unable to conduct a motor vehicle stop due to the fact he was conducting a civilian transport.

Officer Canova provided a location, description of a gray 2018 Jeep Wrangler and the New Jersey registration.

Officer Bregman was able to locate the vehicle and began to make additional observations.

Officer Bregman conducted a motor vehicle stop on Cross Road and made contact with the driver Carol Burns, 49 of Denville, NJ.

Officer Bregman also observed a number of juvenile passengers in the Jeep as well.

While speaking to Burns, Officer Bregman observed signs of intoxication.

After failing standard field sobriety tests Burns was placed under arrest for DWI.

She was processed and charged additionally with DWI with minors in vehicle, reckless driving, failure to give proper directional signal, obstructed plates and failure to wear seatbelt.

She was released to a family member pending initial appearance in West Milford Court.

DWI ARREST

On December 29, 2019 at approximately 5:30 PM West Milford Police Dispatch received 9-1-1 calls for a motor vehicle travelling south on Route 23 from Cannistear Road at a very slow rate of speed and unable to maintain its lane.

As patrol officers were responding to the location, one caller remained on the line and followed the vehicle on Route 23 South until the vehicle exited on to Union Valley Road.

The vehicle was eventually located on Union Valley Road by West Milford Police Officer Jordan Primavera.

After observing several moving violations Officer Primavera conducted a motor vehicle stop and made contact with the driver and lone occupant Sandra Weiss, 57 of West Milford.

While speaking to Weiss, Officer Primavera observed signs of intoxication.

After failing standard field sobriety tests Weiss was placed under arrest for DWI.

She was processed and charged additionally with Careless driving and Failure to maintain a lane.

She was released to a friend pending initial appearance in West Milford Municipal Court.
