Newton- The Center for Prevention and Counseling offers its students the opportunity to learn the latest information and resources on substance abuse treatment, prevention, and health education. Certified training in traditional and non-traditional methods is provided. All classes have been approved by the Certification Board of New Jersey and submitted for approval to the New Jersey Board of Social Work. Re-certification classes are available in the upcoming weeks: Medication Assisted Addiction Treatment - Saturday, Dec. 1 Overview and History of Community Organizations-P301 - Wednesday, Dec. 5. Heroin and the New Millennium - Saturday, Dec. 8.
