Lafayette The Lafayette fall festival is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13. at the Lafayette Township School, Beaver Run Road. The day will feature many activities for children. The concession table will be providing fall favorites including caramel and candied apples, cider donuts made by Ideal Farms and cold and hot mulled apple cider. There will be a pie baking contest with an adult division and a youth division. After the judging, the pie slices will be sold for all to taste. Several games will be sponsored by each class and other activities will be sponsored by the PTO. A bounce house is sponsored by the Lafayette Athletic Association. The fifth through eighth graders will raise funds for their class by selling fresh-popped popcorn and other foods. They will also offer paint-your-own pumpkin activities and others. There will be a vendor area with various items for sale and many local organizations will be available. A Rain date is set for Sunday, Oct. 14.
