Sparta n Hazmat Modine brings its double harmonicas to the Sparta Concert Series on July 13. Incorporating American folk strains from jugband to R&B, swing, and New Orleans, Hazmat Modine is a large, rollicking ensemble with a dual-harmonica lineup and also a tuba and Hawaiian guitar, in addition to more common instrumentation like electric guitar and drums. The band has been featured on WNYC’s Soundcheck program, on BBC Radio’s The World, and on Russian television. For more information, go to the Website, www.spartaarts.org.
