Hardik C. Soni, M.D., has been named medical director in the emergency department at Saint Clare’s Hospital/Sussex. He will oversee the new emergency room at the Sussex facility. Prior to joining the emergency room medical team at Saint Clare’s, Soni was affiliated with Kaiser Permanente n Sunset Healthcare System in Los Angeles and was an attending physician in the city’s King Drew Medical Center. Soni is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica, West Indies. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine. Saint Clare’s operates hospitals in Boonton Township, Denville, Dover and Sussex Borough and other facilities located throughout Morris and Sussex counties.
