Cubs go hunting (sorta)

| 29 Sep 2011 | 01:00

At their January pack meeting, the Cub Scouts from pack 139 in West Milford made bows that shot straws. These bows were used for several archery-related events including long-distance shooting, target practice, and a safari shoot. The scouts and leaders are happy to report that “no animals were hurt during the hunt.” The pack generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the Apshawa Elementary School and accepts new registrants on a year-round basis.
