He’s the most popular breed, why is he still homeless? WEST MILFORD — When polls are taken to determine the most popular breeds of dogs, Golden Retrievers are always on the list. And Chester, a very large seven-year-old neutered male, is a prime example of the reasons the breed is so popular. Chester loves people, going for walks, romping in the yard and playing with toys. His size is matched by his outgoing personality and his happy and loving nature; he has a very balanced and pleasing personality and disposition. He also enjoys being quiet and relaxed just as much as he enjoys running and playing. Chester was released to the shelter because his previous owners were no longer in a position to be able to care for him. He has been given a complete medical examination, is up-to-date with all necessary inoculations, and is now ready for a new family and home. Because of his size and strength, he is best suited for a family with children at least five years of age, and his loving nature does not extend to cats. For more information call 973-728-2859.
