Red Cross 5K Oak Ridge’s Bill Gaudette paced three local residents to the finish of the Red Cross 5K Run in Millburn on Sunday. The 59-year-old crossed the line 41st in the field of 289 runners who completed the USATF- certified beautiful tree-lined 3.1-mile course through the South Mountain Reservation. He was clocked in 21:28. Newton’s 67-year-old Joseph Farinella picked up the runner-up award in the men’s 65 to 69-year-old age division when he turned in a time of 24:54. Sparta’s 43-year-old Edward Neighbour finished 59th overall in 22:50.
