Bring our boys home

To the editor: I read in your paper of March 23 about the peace vigil. My idea about the war is that it is not our problem. Our men and women do not belong there. Over 3225 Americans have been killed. This country should take care of this country and not theirs. As for parents who wave their hands and say we can’t do anything about it, well, they can join the peace vigil and the numbers go up. The more people who stand up for our young the better. We need to support our troops instead of staying home while they are getting killed. Take a weekend and go to some of the Veteran’s Hospitals and see our service men and women and how they come back. It is not a nice sight to see. If this doesn’t touch your heart something is wrong. People like Bill Bender who say they are opposed to the Highland Peace Action and other people who feel that way should go to Iraq and let a soldier come home in their place. Bring our boys home.
