To the editor: As a West Milford resident and as your freeholder, it is my pleasure to announce my support for the Sheriff Speziale team for the local election in West Milford to be held on November 6, 2007. Bettina Bieri will make an excellent mayor. Bettina is intelligent, articulate, a tireless worker, and a consensus builder. She will enthusiastically fulfill her duties as mayor. She has also pledged to serve personally on the planning board rather than delegate that responsibility to a surrogate. Both Bob Nolan and James Warden deserve your votes for re-election to the town council. They have spent the past three years working for you and representing youand saying no to special interests. They have done a terrific job of ensuring that your tax dollars are spent wisely. They have also been the stewards of our environment. Bob and James have been leaders in our many fights to prevent high-density developments. They have been vigilant against the impact these types of residential developments can have on our water supply, traffic, and taxes. They have been committed to maintaining the highest possible quality of life for all of us. I look forward to working with Bettina Bieri, Bob Nolan, and James Warden to ensure that West Milford continues to receive its fair share of county services as well.
