— The 19th Autumn Lights Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (rain date Oct 13, 2013).

The festival, which is run by a group of volunteers, drew over 15,000 people last year from the entire New York/New Jersey area and as far away as Connecticut. This year, the committee hopes the festival proves to be bigger and better and draws an even bigger crowd.

Come spend the day with the family to shop and browse, Enjoy the entertainment at one of the three stages and sample many types of food. Bring your children to try all the new "jumpies" and rides. And if you bring your dog, stop at the "pamper your pooch" stations for treats and give-aways. Maybe even participate in one of the contests, which include cutest baby, pickle, pasta and pie eating contests, and a doggie costume contest.

"The shuttle buses will run again this year," said Erika Crocco, media coordinator for ALF. "Last year it helped tremendously with traffic flow, parking spots, and helped to keep the festival running smoothly. We had positive feedback and will be bringing them back again this year to prepare for the larger crowds so that everyone can enjoy the day stress free."

Crocco said there are a few vendor spots still available and the deadline is Aug. 15. Anyone interested in being a vendor of new items only, should go to the Web site www.autumnlightsfestival.com to obtain the registration form. Spots are $50 for merchandise vendors and $100 for a food vendors.

The festival is looking for sponsors. Sponsorships range from $1,500 to $10,000 and the sponsorship forms and detail can also be obtained at www.autumnlightsfestival.com.

"Please consider being an event sponsor," said Crocco. "Thank you for continuing to support the festival and see you at ALF!"
