NEWTON - The Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council will begin its fall season with an exhibit of local artists’ work titled “Bits & Pieces.” The show will run from Sept. 16 - Oct. 21. There will be many new artists exhibiting, and the gallery at 9 Moran St. will be expanded to display jewelry and wearable art. The staff of SCA&HC invite such artists interested in exhibiting their crafts to contact the gallery. The Public Gallery located at the Judicial Center 43-47 High St. will also be reopened, with a show entitled “Altered Light,” a photography exhibition, as its first event. The show will run from Sept. 20 - Nov. 15 on the second floor of the gallery. The council will be making the third floor gallery available to artists that are interested in group or solo exhibits.
