SUSSEX — Auditions for Gershwin’s classic musical “Crazy for You” will take place on Sunday, July 22, Monday, July 23 and Tuesday, July 24 at 7 p.m. at Cornerstone’s home at the Crescent Theater, 74 Main St. in Sussex.

"Crazy for You" is the story of Bobby Child, a well-to-do 1930s playboy, whose dream in life is to dance, despite the serious efforts of his mother and soon-to-be-ex-fiancee. The stage-struck Bobby Child is sent to a small, poor town in Nevada to close down the local theater. Soon he falls in love with the theater owner’s daughter, Polly. To save the theatre, he dreams up the idea to put on a show to raise money for the theatre. In the end, the town is reinvigorated, the theatre is saved.
