WEST MILFORD — The township's Community Services and Recreation Department put on a 1950s-style sock hop on Saturday, June 16. What a party it was! There were poodle skirts, leather jackets and plenty of great music from the era to keep everyone twisting the night away. DJ Lou dressed as Elvis and definitely got everyone in the mood. After a night of dancing, what could be better than an old fashioned root beer float! That's what was on the menu and everyone enjoyed. In all, about 85 residents came out to the Elks Lodge for the fun night.
