Morris County Barbershop quartets in tuxedoes will be blanketing North Jersey on Valentine’s Day this year as part of a national musical celebration. The Morris Music Men are spearheading this year’s program and will send quartets to sing love songs at virtually any location in and around Morris County on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 13 and 14. For $45, a quartet of men dressed in formal attire will serenade a sweetheart, office staffer or client at work, at home or at a restaurant. Included in the package are a red rose and a special Valentine’s Day card. Reservations and further information are available by calling 973-625-2842. The deadline for ordering is Saturday, Feb. 10, at 9 p.m. The Morris Music Men chorus and its affiliated quartets are part of the national barbershop harmony society, which has more than 30,000 members. The chapter meets Tuesday evenings at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Chatham. Profits from the Valentine’s Day program benefit the chapter’s educational programs.
