Blessed Kateri Tricky Tray set for June 2

    Sparta - Blessed Kateri Parish in Sparta will hold its annual Tricky Tray on Friday, June 2, at Pope John XXIII High School, located at 28 Andover Rd. in Sparta. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the drawing begins at 8 p.m. The Tricky Tray will have over 200 trays, ranging from copper fire pits, Nintendo systems, wooden porch rockers, camping gear, major league tickets for both football and baseball, and jewelry. Other trays will include merchandise from the Home Depot, Cadbury, Medieval Times dinner tickets and tickets to Broadway shows. “Regular” trays have a $40 and over value; tickets are $4 per sheet and there are 25 tickets to each sheet. Three sheets can be purchased for $10. “Special” trays are valued at $125 and over. Tickets can be purchased for $2 each or three for $5. The “Super Special” Trays are valued at over $250. Tickets sell for $4 each or three for $10. The “50/50” raffle tickets sell for $1 dollar each or 12 for $10. There will also be a “grand prize” drawing for which the winner need not be present. Three tickets will be selected for first prize, a Gateway laptop computer with carry case; second prize, a Kodak P850 Digital Camera with accessory pack; and third prize, a $250 Visa check card. Grand-prize tickets are $10 each or three for $25. Admission is free. Tickets can be purchased at the door for cash only. Refreshments will be available. No one under 18 years old will be admitted.
