— The 11th annual Harvest Fest and Craft Fair is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 6 and 7, at the New Jersey State Botanical Garden, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. N
NJBG/Skylands Association, the non-profit member organization that supports the Botanical Garden, sponsors this annual weekend packed with family fun.
Activities for all ages include hay rides, pumpkin painting, children’s games, an autumn plant sale, a blacksmith at work, model airplanes, applesauce making, a bake sale, and a photography workshop. There will be free, guided garden tours, or you can wander on your own on a self-guided tour. Don’t forget to bring your camera, as there will be fun photo faceboards and great photo ops along the way.
At the craft fair you will find lots of goodies and beautiful hand-made items – everything from jewelry to jams — perfect for your early holiday shopping. There will also be live music and dancing both days from 1 to 4 p.m.
