Newton -The Sussex County Arts & Heritage Council at 9 Moran Street is offering an all-day workshop on the business of art on Saturday, May 19. Jonathan Talbot, a painter, printmaker and collage artist who has sold more than 30,000 works everywhere from the sidewalks of San Francisco to some of New York City’s most prestigious galleries, will present this eight-hour intensive His subjects include framing and presentation, determining goals, determining market, pricing work, marketing methods, promotion, making a profit, “putting it all together and making it happen.” The fee is $110 which includes lunch, refreshments and a copy of “The Artist’s Marketing & Action Plan Workbook” by Talbot & Geoffrey Howard.
