West Milford — Music at the Mission is proud to present it's second annual Cabin Fever Cure Tour on Saturday, Feb. 25. Barnaby Bright and We're About 9 will warm the stage starting at 8 p.m.

Barnaby Bright Brooklyn-based Indie folk rock duo Barnaby Bright has garnered high accolades for their lyrically captivating and impeccably balanced songwriting and sound. The ying to each other’s yang, Becky Bliss’s angelic voice enchants audiences, while Nathan Bliss’s brilliant mastery of multiple instruments and writing styles guides the songs down their path. Finalists in the prestigious New York Song Circle Contest for two years in a row, Barnaby Bright was awarded the grand prize winners in Nov. 2010 for their song, “Don’t Look Down.”

The married duo self-produced their first album, "Wake The Hero," garnering accolades such as being highlighted as an "emerging artist" at the legendary Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in July 2010.

Their music has been featured on television shows, including ER, Days of Our Lives and Roadtrip Nation.

They have toured all over the United States in addition to completing two successful month-long European tours, dazzling fans with unique instrumentation, powerful harmonies, intelligent lyrics, and genuine warmth on stage. Inspired by literature, life, human behavior, and a hint of fantasy, Barnaby Bright is a classic vision of timeless Indie folk rock in all its glory.

We're About 9 Brian Gundersdorf and Katie Graybeal's weekly open mic at the Jahva House in Ellicott City, Md., broke fire codes with attendance flooding both floors of the cafe and spilling out into the street. After the open mic ended each week, the music would continue outside in the parking lot. It was in the magical location of parking lot D that Graybeal, Gundersdorf, and Pat Klink first started sculpting their distinctive vocal harmony arrangements and We're About 9 was formed.

Emerging in a scene where they would play shows to everything form high school kids to mature folkies, they were inspired to forge both a sound and a songwriting style that would appeal to both.

In 2002, We're About 9 won the emerging artist showcase vote at The Falcon Ridge Folk festival. Within two years, they played the main stage at Falcon Ridge Folk Fest, Philadelphia Folk Fest, Clearwater Revival, Bele Chere, Green River Festival, Four Corners Folk Fest, Mountain Stage New Songs Fest, and many more — at the same time touring east coast folk clubs, coffeehouses, house concerts, and college venues.

In 2008 We're About 9 released Paperdust :: Stardust, an album that shows off both the duo of Katie and Brian on some songs, the trio of Brian, Katie and Pat on others, and is also loaded with special guests. Look for members of Girlyman, Red Molly, Andy and Denise, and Naked Blue on this album. Amalgam, a collection of 14 previously released songs, plus 2 enhanced recordings, and one brand new song was released in 2010 at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.
