Newton The Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council has announced that entry forms are available upon request for their 20th Annual Skylands Juried Art Show and Sale. All fine artists, photographers and master craftsmen are welcome to apply for entry. Deadline for registration is March 3. For two decades, Skylands has provided a venue for established and emerging artists to compete for $3,000 awarded in cash prizes. This juried exhibit includes works of art in many mediums and presents a discriminating selection of local talent. Skylands will be on exhibit at the Sussex County Community College Gallery, Building C and will be open to the public from April 20-25. This year’s entries will be judged by Erika Jaeger-Smith, Associate Curator of Exhibitions at James A. Michener Art Museum; Jimmy Clark, executive director of Peters Valley Craft Center; and Al Zerries, accomplished painter, portrait artist and author.
