GREENWOOD LAKE, N.Y. — The Greenwood Lake Lions Club is sponsoring the Greenwood Lake Family Carnival on Chestnut Street in the Village of Greenwood Lake on Sept. 6 and 7 from 5 to 10 p.m., and Sept. 8 from 2 to 10 p.m.
C&N Amusements will provide the rides, inflatables and games, plus some carnival treats. The Greenwood Lake Elks will provide the food and beverages at the Elks Pavilion. Money raised during this event will allow the Greenwood Lake Lions to meet pressing needs in the Greenwood Lake community.
The Greenwood Lake Lions Club has 26 members and meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 7 p.m. Lions Clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
