Sparta - Tickets are still available for the second annual “Casino Night” sponsored by the Junior Woman’s Club of Sparta. The event will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, in the Grand Ballroom at Perona Farms in Andover. Three levels of tickets are available: general admission, high roller, and “VIP.” General admission tickets are $60 per person and include $100 in “casino money,” food, beer and wine. High-roller tickets are $75 per person and holders will be admitted at 6:30 p.m., an hour in advance of regular admission. The limited availability high roller tickets include special prizes and less crowded tables for one hour. VIP tickets cost $125 per person (up to seven people per table). Groups of seven may purchase an entire table and receive an eighth VIP ticket for free. The VIP section starts at 7:30 p.m. and will allow VIP ticket holders to play at their own blackjack or poker tables all evening in a special, velvet roped off section. The VIP ticket includes drinks and food to be brought to the table, plus $200 in “casino money” per ticket. Among the prizes to be offered at Casino Night include a sterling silver heart tag bracelet from Tiffany & Co., two N.J. Nets tickets, a gift certificate to Depasquale Spa, David Yurman earrings, Secure Zone home alarm and installation, and jewelry from J. Thomas Jewelers. The gourmet menu includes hot passed hors d’oeuvres, including lobster cobbler, clams casino, filet mignon garlic croustades, and shrimp scampi in filo. Among the five main entrees are steak au poivre and seafood bouillabaisse. In addition to the Perona Farms smoked salmon, there will be turkey and corned beef carving stations, many side dishes and desserts. Coffee, tea, beer, and wine will be served throughout the evening. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Project Self-Sufficiency of Sussex County. Remaining proceeds will benefit other charitable organizations. Advance tickets are required for admission.
