WAYNE — Celtic Crossroads will perform at William Paterson University in Wayne on Thursday, March 8 at 8 p.m. in the Shea Center for Performing Arts on campus. The group has been critically acclaimed as the most exhilarating and authentic show to come from Ireland in decades.

Celtic Crossroads is an explosion of youthful energy and dazzling musicianship. The show incorporates seven world-class musicians, playing over 20 instruments on stage. Celtic Crossroads fuses a myriad of genres from eastern European gypsy to world classical and jazz.

Celtic Crossroads’ fame has grown tremendously over the years. Their first American visit led to a sellout tour and this year they are scheduled to perform in some of America’s most prestigious venues, as well as internationally in Ireland, Europe, Mexico and Japan. Their new World Fusion Tour is a fusion of traditional Irish music, bluegrass, gypsy, and jazz that pulsates with the rhythms of exciting Irish dance percussion.

Tickets to the show are $40 for gold circle, $35 for orchestra, and $30 for loge. For ticket information, call the Shea Center Box Office at 973-720-2371 or order online at www.wplive.org.
