Newton Santo A. Milici, chairman of the Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce, has announced that the chamber’s first bridal show of the year will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, at Lake Mohawk Country Club. The following policies and procedures must be met in order for a company to participate: A business must be a member in good standing. Contracts must be postmarked by the date specified and mailed back to the bridal committee in order to be considered on a first come, first served basis. If late, there will be a $50 penalty fee and participation is not guaranteed. Full payment for the show must accompany the contract. No exceptions. A dressed display table will be provided to you at the facility. If the facility requires an additional expense for electrical outlets, those costs will be passed to the vendors needing electricity. Displays must be set up and later broken down by the times specified within the contract. A door prize from each vendor is suggested for each show attended. The chamber tentatively has two additional shows lined up for this year, with one more in the works. The entire year will be posted on the chamber’s special bridal show Web site, gnccbridalshow.com. Chamber members interested in participating in this show should contact the executive director at info@greaternewtoncc.com or call 973-300-0433 to request a contract.
