OAK RIDGE-Singer and guitarist Dave Sherman will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23. at the Jefferson Twp. Public Library, 1031 Weldon Rd., Oak Ridge, as part of the library’s “Sunday Sounds” live acoustic music series. The show is free and open to the public. Sherman is a central N.J. musician who has played a wide variety of music over the years. He’s played in such diverse groups as the Gringo Starr Tex Mex Band, the Normandy Invasion Jazz Band, and the Folk Project’s Big Boogie Band. He’s played many venues, including the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the Mistral Coffeehouse and the Mine Street Coffeehouse. The “Sunday Sounds” series concludes on Nov. 6 with a performance by Sandie Reilly.
