Saint Joseph Church has announced that it will be holding a new fund raising event this fall. Ready-to-bake and pre-baked, thaw-and-serve gourmet pies will be available for order from Saint Joseph’s from October 1 through October 26. “These elegant desserts, prepared by “Ovens of Ashley,” are served in some of the finest restaurants in New York City,” said Cecile Federici, Saint Joseph Church’s business office administrator. Saint Joseph’s has arranged to take pre-paid orders throughout October and provide a pick up site, Saint Joseph’s Parish Center, on November 18, from 2-7 p.m. (only). Available in baked, thaw-and-serve, will be pumpkin, key lime, French silk cream and pecan pies. Pumpkin cheesecake will also be available. The frozen, read-to-bake pies include medley of fruit, peach praline, caramel apple walnut and apple. To place an order call 973-697-6100.
