Emergency preparedness class receives excellent rating

    Newton - On Feb. 16, the Sussex County Division of Health, Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program received an excellent rating by the Sussex County Community College for their class, “Emergency Preparedness: Taking Personal Responsibility.” This free, 2-hour hands-on class is designed to help participants to plan for their safety and the safety of their family for at least the first 72 hours following a major disaster. Classes will be held on Tuesday, April 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, May 22,, from 10 a.m. to noon.
