SUSSEX COUNTY-An Evening of Wine and Roses, hosted by the Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation, raised $95,900, with the proceeds benefiting the new Charles L. Tice Heart Center for diagnostics services of Newton Memorial Hospital. Sean O'Rouke, president of the foundation, stated, "The huge success of the evening was due to the generous support we received from the community. We are especially grateful to the Romano Family, owners and operators of seven Ronetco Supermarkets, Inc., who was the Champagne Grand Event sponsor. It is through their support and many resources that help to coordinate the evening's efforts. Special thanks to the Chairman, Mark Avondoglio from Perona Farms, the event sponsors and the gala committee." More than 900 guests had the opportunity to taste various fine wines from around the world and sample gourmet cuisine from many of the areas finest restaurants, including Andre's Restaurant & Wine Boutique, Barone's Restaurant, Black Forest Inn, Bobolink Dairy, Bula "World Cuisine", Café Pierrot, Casa Masellli @ Stillwater Inn, Cheez-Kake Bake Shop, The Chocolate Goat Gift Shoppe, Francesca's, Fratelli's Italian Restaurant & Catering, Garden of Eden, Lake Mohawk Country Club, Laurel Villa Country Inn, Mountain Brook Inn, Nastasi Imports, Newton Country Club, Newton Memorial Hospital Food Services, Perona Farms, Plaza Bistro, The Tea Hive, The Perfect Pan Kitchenware & Cooking Classes, Tom Quick Inn, Trimp's Ice Art, Wakefern Food Corporation and Zoe's by the Lake French Restaurant.
