VERNON - Students and faculty from Vernon Township High School will face off in a benefit Flag Football Game from 1 - 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 at the Vernon Flats field. Proceeds from the event will be donated to PAL in memory of John Fisher, the senior who died this summer in a motor vehicle accident. The match is sponsored by the school’s National Honor Society, of which Fisher was a member. Donations of at least $2 are requested for admission. There will be one giant game played, and a half-time show featuring faculty members is being planned. Hot refreshments will be sold as well.
