Sussex — The sixth annual Fall Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 at Sussex County Community College. The public is invited to attend the festival and admission is free. The fall festival is a time for Sussex County Community College to focus on “Celebrating Community.” This year we have even more to celebrate, as SCCC continues the year long celebration of our 25th anniversary. As in years past, the Festival will include games, relay races, prizes, face painting, crafts, story telling, and rides. This year will feature some new rides and a ride-all-day wristband is still just $5. A change to this year’s Fall Festival is the addition of an old fashion flea market. Spaces will be available on a limited basis so be sure to call in to reserve your space now. In addition to the flea market and rides there will be music, a coffeehouse, local service agencies, antiques, and a farmers market. A trackless train will get folks around to see all the sights.
