Vernon - Killington snowboard instructor Chickie Rosenberg is back at Hidden Valley Resort in Vernon to lead a series of Women’s Snowboard Workshops. Recently the subject of a feature article in The New York Times, Rosenberg is the author of Snowboarding for Women: A Guide for the Betty Shred Wannabe and is a Level 2 AASI snowboard instructor at Killington Resort in Vermont, where she specializes in teaching women. She will conduct three separate all day workshops at Hidden Valley: Jan. 25 for first timers, Jan. 26 for beginner-intermediates, and Feb. 1 for intermediate-advanced. The $90 fee includes an all-day lift ticket, two-hour lesson, lunch, and free riding tips from Rosenberg in the afternoon. Rosenberg is also available for private lessons, on a limited basis.
