Attention Parents: Learn What Your Kids Know About The Internet - The Internet is a wonderful tool, and a great form of entertainment. However, for children it can be a dangerous place. Even seemingly innocuous Web sites have become the hunting grounds for predators. Parents need to be aware not only what their children are doing online, but also of what others are doing. This workshop will teach parents how to monitor their children’s online activities, learn about MySpace, instant messaging and chat rooms. Use a computer’s “history” feature to see what sites have been visited and use a search engine tool to perform a search for a child’s name. Two sessions are being offered: Thursday, Feb. 22 from to 9 p.m. and Saturday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee for this course is $50 per person.
