Sparta Ginger Millermon, a recording artist, songwriter, women’s worship leader and speaker, will perform at Sparta Evangelical Free Church, on Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. She has spoken and performed for thousands in churches, women’s conferences and pro-life events across the United States and her music can be heard on many radio stations. When her twin boys were born prematurely, the doctors gave no hope that her son Jarrott would live. She and her husband, Joel, never gave up hope nor faith in God. However, the road they traveled wasn’t easy. “Trusting God suddenly became more than a cliché -- it became the only way for us to survive,” exclaims Ginger. “I am reminded every day when I look at Jarrott, how faithful God is to us.” Today, Jarrott and his brother Brennan are healthy nine-year-olds, with an older sister, McKenzie. The family resides in Kansas. Through her contemplative music and testimony, Millermon shares the story of their son’s remarkable medical journey. Many of her songs come from Scripture. Radio singles “Fountain of Life,” “All My Ways” and “I Lift Up My Eyes” from Millermon's latest release have both climbed into the Top 40 on the national Inspirational Chart published by Christian Radio Weekly.
