WEST MILFORD The seniors at West Milford High School will be broadcasting their annual cable-thon to raise money for Project Graduation. The broadcast, done in conjunction with Cablevision, will air live on Sunday, April 2 from 5-9 p.m. on Cablevision channel 78. Project Graduation is designed to keep seniors off the roads and away from drugs and alcohol following graduation. The cable-thon has historically raised enough money to help keep the party free of charge to the graduates. The April 2 program will include singers, musicians and other entertainers from the senior class, as well as guests from the school and town. Local businesses have donated money, gifts, and prizes. Every individual who donates over $25 will receive a project graduation tee shirt and a chance to win prizes. The production staff for the broadcast will be made up of students from the high school TV program, assisted by employees of Cablevision. The staff of Cablevision supports the broadcast with equipment and professional advisors. In past years this effort has raised as much as $15,000. The senior class encourages all residents to call in and support them.
